What is Hertrich Certified Pre-Owned?
- An industry-best 7-year / 100,000-mile powertrain warranty. Coverage begins from the original in-service date.
- 12-month / 12,000-mile comprehensive mechanical warranty (exclusionary). Coverage begins from the date of sale
Multi-point inspection with strict quality standards
- Free Auto Check Vehicle History Report to be located in the Delivery Portfolio.
- Towing coverage up to $50 per occurrence for covered breakdowns.
- Rental car reimbursement up to $35 per day for 5 days ($175 total) for covered incidents that require the customer's car to remain in the shop overnight.
- 3 Day / 150-mile customer satisfaction guarantee. The customer can exchange the vehicle if it does not fit their needs within 3 days and less than 150 new miles.
Vehicles qualifications consist of the following:
- Must be a brand that the Hertrich Family represents as new vehicle franchise
- Must be under 60,000 miles
- Within 5 model years of the current year
- Must pass multi-point inspection
- Clear title
A Hertrich Certified Pre-Owned Multi-Point Inspection includes:
Mechanical:
- Wiper blades must be replaced
- Battery health must be in the green and replaced if over 3 years old
- Tread depth must be 5/32 or greater and all tires must match
- Oil must be at 100%
- Alignment must be within acceptable range
- All fluids must be topped off
- Brake pads must be greater than 5 mm
- All components of the vehicle must be in working order
Cosmetic:
- Any scratch that is through the clear coat must be repaired
- Any dent greater than a dime must be repaired
- Windshield and glass must be free of chips and cracks
- Vehicle must be free of any unpleasant odor
- Any tears or rips in the fabric that are visible must be repaired
- Any stain that is visible must be removed
- All CPO units must have 2 sets of keys and the factory owner's manual
